COMFORT ME

I’m an open book
I’m a long walk down the hall
Full of unlocked doors and some memories I can’t recall
But I wanna be smooth, detached by a winning smile
I need to learn keep myself to myself for a while because
It would comfort me

I need to be strong
Stronger arms to hold on, stronger shoulders to lean on to
I wanna be larger than life, so that life might be afraid
To raise its head and show me the mistakes I’ve made
It would comfort me
