When I was a kid I caught my old man heading off to work overtime one weekend and I asked him,

"Do you even have to work on Saturday?"

He just looked at me and said "Every damn day."

Now that I am grown I find myself striving to make the things that I have to do "Every damn day" work move me towards a better life. This song is something of a checklist that I have made for myself and the mantra that I find myself repeating.
